So Far So Good

It looks like I’ve spun the necessary five and a half ounces today. One ounce of which finished up the Gawain batt! I now have five spools full of it. And that means that the wheel is freed up for either spinning the Rebecca wool, or plying the Gawain.

Of course, the main question is whether plying is included in the “have them all done by January 1st” thing. Hmm. I think I shall have to wait and see what happens. I’d settle for having them all in single form!

And I spun quite a bit more of the lumpy bumpy yarn, which I still don’t have a name for.

Hopefully I can get some more of the New Zealand singles spun tonight while we watch a Christmas movie. It works very well to drop-spindle during a movie, provided the movie doesn’t get too interesting.
