It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

I’m definitely behind schedule today. Christmas cookies took up the morning, and I was tired the rest of the afternoon. I did, however, play around with a little of the red cookie dough. Here’s my three-ply, peppermint yarn ball!

Cookie, Anyone?

Cookie, Anyone?

No, I did not put it on the wheel. It would be far too greasy. And I apologize for how hard it is to see the twist in the picture. The cookie was liberally sprinkled before I got to it with a camera, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Cookie baking was enjoyable, but I’ve heard “Santa Claus is Coming To Town” and the title of this post so much that they’re melding together in my brain. It makes quite the interesting song when you combine them.

The bobbin of black grew a little bit, and I tried to do some on the Great Wheel. Key word there is “tried.” The fiber didn’t want to behave.

We’re off to a Christmas Eve service, so I doubt I’ll be able to pull any rabbits out of hats.

Have a wonderful Christmas!

-As a side note, I wonder how many thousands of other bloggers have used that particular post title in the last month.
