No, this is not a horror story involving Angora rabbits and sticky candy. This is the next-to-final project on my New Year’s Dash list.
This is the Bunny Yarn.

Soft and Squishy
Isn’t it fun? It’s a thick, natural-colored Wensleydale single plyed with the thin pink silk I’ve been working on. And the best part of it? I didn’t have to spin all of the silk on the drop spindle! I ran out of Wensleydale part of the way through my first spindle full. (Oh, isn’t that too bad?)
So I took what was left of the pink roving, slapped it (gently) onto the Saxony wheel and spun it up thick. Then I plyed it with some of the leftover thin single. That gave me the Bubblegum Silk Yarn.

Even Softer
Put a big check mark next to it, my friends; the pink silk roving is history!
Now it’s just a matter of seeing how much New Zealand I can spin before midnight. Which won’t be a lot because I’ll be busy for quite a bit of today. But, I’ll show you the enormous pile of yarn I finished up during these last . . . what? . . . eight days? I’ve got enough to open a small store. A very small store. But anyway, I’m rather happy.
That is beautiful, I love the color and texture.
Ooh . . . very pretty. The pink and cream is a nice combination. Looks edible.
